Meta’s new AI integration allows users to ask questions without repeating the activation phrase “Hey Meta” after the initial request. This advancement brings a more seamless interaction between users and their glasses, enabling hands-free convenience. The glasses can now store parking locations and set reminders, such as reminding you to text someone when you arrive at your destination. Additionally, Meta AI can send voice messages on platforms like WhatsApp and Messenger, allowing users to stay connected without needing to use their phone.

In addition to these improvements, Ray-Ban | Meta glasses will soon feature real-time translation capabilities. Users can communicate with speakers of Spanish, French, or Italian and hear the conversation in English through the glasses’ open-ear speakers. This feature aims to enhance global communication and help break down language barriers.

Meta is also advancing its partnerships with popular audio platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music, while introducing new collaborations with Audible and iHeart. These integrations will allow users to use voice commands to search and play music, podcasts, and audiobooks hands-free, enriching their listening experience.

Further, a new limited-edition transparent frame will be released. The Shiny Transparent Wayfarer frames provide a unique look, showcasing the technology inside the glasses. With new transitional lenses from EssilorLuxottica, the glasses are designed to adapt quickly to changing light conditions, enhancing both style and functionality. The monthly economic expansion was led primarily by a 1.0 per cent rise in the mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction sector, marking its second straight month of sector-wide growth. Increased production across Alberta bitumen sites and deferred routine spring maintenance enabled higher crude oil extraction volumes throughout May. Support activities for oil and gas extraction surged by 9.8 per cent, recording its seventh consecutive monthly expansion. Additionally, transportation and warehousing output grew by 0.3 per cent, supported by increased pipeline throughput carrying natural gas to export markets and higher domestic freight movements.
