The meeting included Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa also took part. Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah attended alongside Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan joined the discussions as well. Senior representatives from Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan completed the wider regional group assembled for the talks. Officials focused on security, stability and development across the Middle East. They also reviewed ways to strengthen international cooperation on regional and global challenges. Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE supports initiatives that promote de-escalation and sustainable peace. He also linked regional stability with economic growth and broader prosperity. The discussions reflected several issues facing governments at the UN gathering, where leaders use formal sessions and separate meetings to address security, development and diplomatic cooperation.
